WHAT DO YOU DO FOR SAFETY?
We take safety very seriously at our surf camp. The beaches where we surf have a main lifeguard tower with one smaller tower within a hundred yards. We surf in front of these lifeguard towers. Every seven students in the water have one adult chaperone with them in the water. Students wear bright colored rashguards so they are easily visible. Each of our adult chaperones are very strong swimmers. We have a trained paramedic that travels with us. Many of the students surf in water that is only 2 - 4 feet deep and waves are anywhere from two to four feet high.

WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ADULT CHAPERONES?
All of our adult chaperones are over the age of 25, have been thoroughly questioned and come recommended by their home church pastors. Only those of highest Christlike moral integrity are selected. All campers
have immediate contact with family members via cell phones. You can find adult chaperone photos and information on our website (www.wavesurfcamp.org). Daily emails and photos are sent out to parents at the end of each day highlighting the days events.
